TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) dates back 2,500 years and is therefore one of the oldest medicine on earth.
One of the basic principles of TCM is that “the vital energy of the body (chi or qi)” circulates through the channels (meridians) that are connected to body organs and functions” so that it can be applied to cure any health issue.
TCM encompasses many different practices, including Chinese herbs, acupuncture, moxibustion (burning an herb above the skin to apply heat to acupuncture points), tui na (Chinese therapeutic massage), cupping, dietary therapy, gua sha, tai chi, and qi gong, etc.
