Cupping
Fire cupping is the one kind of all cupping.
The alcohol cotton wool is ignited and placed in the cup in one movement and quickly removed, then the cup is placed on the skin. The fire heats the inside of the cup, creating a suction. Dark circles may appear where the cups were placed due to a breakage of the capillaries.
Cupping improves the stagnating of blood and lymph. Cupping improves body’s circulation and immunity. That is good to help pneumonia and bronchitis recovery.
Cupping is also used on back, neck, shoulder and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Cupping is not advised over skin ulcers or to the abdominal or sacral regions of pregnant women.
